CCE Internal Award â€“ Star Pupil Award
The Qifa Star Pupil Award is given out to deserving pupils who have demonstrated exemplary character and outstanding personal qualities through their behaviour and actions in school. The school recognises and affirm pupils who demonstrate the School Values, ASPIRE.
- One pupil per class per term is identified and nominated by the Form Teacher, in consultation with the Mother-Tongue teacher and one other Subject Teacher. Evidence of the pupilâ€™s good conduct and behaviour is documented in an on-line Star Pupil Award Nomination Form.
- Form Teachers adhere to two phases, Evaluation and Recognition Phases in the assessment cycle. Form Teachers evaluate deserving pupils who lived by the ASPIRE Values based on the ASPIRE rubric. The school celebrates these pupilsâ€™ achievement by giving out individual certificates at the termly Star Pupil Award presentation ceremony. Photographs of awardees are put up at the Star Pupil notice board in the school canteen. Star Pupil Award certificates of the term for the pupils are prominently displayed inside their respective classrooms.
